Mental Health Assistance

Not everyone experiences mental health conditions in the same way, but everyone struggling with their mental health deserves help. Depression and anxiety are among the most common conditions experienced. Anxiety and depression can lead adolescents to consider suicide as a possible solution to their difficulties. If you think that your child may be contemplating suicide, it is important to know there is help available. When seeking assistance your child’s safety is the first consideration in determining which option is best.

Option 1:

EMERGENCY INFORMATION/ After Hours Services

If your child is extremely distressed, verbally expressing they want to end their life and/or have a plan, refusing any help, and/or have access to any lethal medication and/or weapons:

IMMEDIATELY call 9-1-1 or your local police department

and/or

Community Crisis Response Team (CCRT)- West End Valley

Option 2:

If your child is demonstrating significant changes in behavior, appearance, thoughts, and/or feelings these could be consider to be “warning signs,” these signs signal the need to inquire whether the child has any thoughts of suicide. Seek out assistance by contacting our:
