• MEChA is a club here on campus that is dedicated to learning, appreciating, and representing Latinx culture here at UHS

• MEChA is an inclusive club that welcomes all students from diverse backgrounds and encourages them to participate in our activities

• When distance learning, these activities include: learning how to play Loteria, designing gratitude cards for members, discussing Latinx culture, creating an Ofrenda for Dia De Los Muertos, passing out candy to the community during Halloween, and much much more. When on campus, MEChA also participates in going to Olvera St. in Downtown Los Angeles, having cultural potlucks, and preparing for a cultural assembly to be performed in front of the entire school
