Social Studies

Hello and welcome to the Social Science Department at Upland High School! We are a dedicated and professional group of educators committed to providing high quality education to our students. As a whole, our diverse staff brings decades of experience and enthusiasm to teaching and interacting with young people. And our course offerings are as diverse as our staff, from subjects on world and U.S. history, to government and economics, to name a few. We also offer an array of Honors and AP level courses, as well as electives that will not only interest the students, but also make them think about current events from a domestic and global perspective. The UHS Social Studies Department remains steadfast in our commitment to students of all learning levels, and we work closely with the UHS special education staff to make sure all of our student's educational needs are met.
