The University has a number of scholarships and financial assistance to bonafide students. Gadget and equipment assistance for students is also available in response to the shift to remote learning this AY 2020-2021.

UP Manila Scholarship and Financial Assistance Program

UPCN Scholarship and Financial Assistance Grants

Out of the 14 scholarships and grants being managed by the College of Nursing, 12 are intended for undergraduate students. The other two are for graduate students – one each for the master’s and PhD students. These private scholarship grants offer financial assistance to deserving students. While the RA 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act ensures free tuition and other fees for undergraduate programs across all state universities and colleges (SUCs) including the University of the Philippines, the privately funded scholarship provide added subsistence to students who are financially-challenged. The scholarships also provide support for books, dormitory rental, transportation, and uniform. 

In the graduate program, the Paz Morales Ferrer Scholarship and Thesis Grant is providing assistance to master’s students to finish their thesis.  The Class 1965 PhD Grant is a new scholarship grant for deserving PhD students.
