Each lake is bounded by one to multiple barangays. Sampaloc Lake, the biggest lake of the seven small crater lakes, is covered by nine (9) barangays. Notably, some lakes share certain barangays, such as in the case of Calibato Lake and Pandin Lake (Barangay Sto. Angel); Bunot Lake and Sampaloc Lake (Barangay Concepcion); and Yambo Lake and Pandin Lake (Barangay San Lorezo). The data of each lake can be viewed on the tabs in Google Sheets shown above.

Overall Observation: Lakes Bunot, Calibato, Mohicap, Pandin, and Sampaloc have increased household units since 1980.

Observation: Increasing trend of household units surrounding Bunot Lake.
Observation: For seven years (2000-2007), there were no changes in the number of household units surrounding Mhicap Lake (Barangay San Buenaventura). However, since 2010, there has been a steady increase in households in the said Barangay.
Observation: The number of household units surrounding Calibato Lake (Barangays Sto. Angel, Tala, Rizal, and Antipolo, Rizal) has steadily increased since the 1990s.
Observation: A decline in household units surrounding Palakpakin Lake, specifically in Barangay Dolores occurred in the year 2000, but has since increased. An increasing trend can also be observed for Barangay San Lorenzo.
Observation: Household units surrounding Pandin Lake, specifically in Barangay Sto. Angel has constantly increased since 1990s. The latest data from San Pablo City LGU shows a total of 2422 household units surrounding Pandin Lake.
Observation: An increasing trend of household units can likewise be observed in Sampaloc Lake. A notable increase can be observed before 2010—the latest San Pablo City LGU data records 4692 household units surrounding Sampaloc Lake. This is the most populated area among the seven small crater lakes, as it is within the city center.
Observation: Despite being comparatively far from the city center, there are still 790 household units recorded in the area, particularly in barangays San Lorenzo, San Pablo City, and barangay Sulsugin, Nagcarlan. It has increased by 212 since 2020.
