Undeniably, each of the seven small-crater lakes has been a significant part of the people's lives in the surrounding communities. The lake has been a source of livelihood, particularly aquaculture/fishing, tourism purposes, and even for domestic use. In this section, you will learn about the lake resource utilization dating back to the pre-1980s up to the present based on the data from the Local Government of San Pablo City. The research team also conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) among communities surrounding the lakes to acquire a richer context.
