The Journal of the Philippine Association for Technology in Home Economics in State Colleges & Universities, Inc. (PATHESCU Journal) and the UP College of Home Economics (UP CHE) invite you to submit original and unpublished research and scholarly articles for the Special Edition of the PATHESCU Journal.

This Special Edition will feature the theme: “Redesigning the Material and Relational Aspects of Life through Home Economics”. It is highly recommended that articles highlight the contributions of the various subdisciplines in home economics in enabling families and consumers meet their changing needs with a special focus on achieving the following identified Sustainable Development Goals: Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Responsible Consumption and Production, and No Poverty as well as the role of Home Economics in recovering from the current pandemic.

All articles will be subjected to a double-blind per review and will be evaluated based on originality, scientific and ethical merits, and relevance to the conference theme. Accepted articles will be published in a PATHESCU e-journal to be released in November 2022.

June 30, 2022 – Release of Initial Review Results: Acceptance of Paper for Peer Review

August 12, 2022 – Deadline for Full Article Submission (Second and Final Call))

August 31, 2022 – Release of Peer Review Results

September 30, 2022 – Resubmission of Revised Article

November 14 & 15, 2022 – Publication of the PATHESCU E-journal

WHO MAY SUBMIT?

Authors who wish to submit articles for publication must be a member of the Philippine Association for Technology in Home Economics in State Colleges and Universities, Inc (PATHESCU).

Faculty members and graduate students from the College of Home Economics and related fields are qualified to be members since we welcome home economists from various HE sub-disciplines from state colleges and universities. We have expanded our membership to practitioners in the field (e.g. DepEd teachers, HE teachers from NGO or private institutions). Undergraduate students can join as Junior Members.
