The UP College of Home Economics invites you to submit your abstracts for oral or poster presentation at the HE Centennial National Conference, which will be held from November 14 to 15, 2022. Papers that relate to the conference theme and subthemes are encouraged, but other home economics-related topics (clothing technology and interior design, family life and child development, food science and nutrition, home economics education, hotel, restaurant, and institution management) will also be considered.


Conference Theme

“Redesigning the Material and Relational Aspects of Life through Home Economics.”


The conference theme focuses on how the various subdisciplines of home economics contribute to enabling families and households meet their changing material and relational needs during the current disaster. It considers how home economics helps families cope with the current situation, while preparing for more changes and challenges ahead.
