PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
All oral presentations must be pre-recorded to ensure the quality of delivery, sessions keeping to time and avoidance of any technical issues. Please make sure that you do not exceed the time limit so that your video will not be rejected. The pre-recorded videos will be played during the scheduled presentation (and will be made available to registered participants if presenters gave permission upon submission). Presenters, however, should be virtually present for their entire presentation in order to join a live Q&A session at the end of the presentation. You are also requested to upload a pdf file version of your presentation.

Recording Tips and Guide
As much as possible, choose a quiet area
Avoid areas that have echoes. Rooms should be fairly small. Sound damping with carpeting, curtains, furniture helps for noise and echo cancellation
Use a good headset with its microphone close to the mouth, BUT away from the direct airstream of the mouth to reduce breathing noise. Avoid using the default built-in microphones of the computer
Do a test recording of a few minutes of presentation and review the sound and picture quality, MP4 format, and bitrate before recording the entire presentation. Adjust if needed
In Power Point’s presentation mode, we recommend using the laser pointer (in full-screen mode: right mouse click --> pointer options --> laser pointer)
Please wear proper dress code: business casual is preferred. Prefer white walls in the surroundings, illuminate your face and do not position your camera against windows.
