A total of 38 interns have been deployed on October 6, 9, and 11, 2025, while the remaining 12 are currently on hold following the Advisory issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and received on October 13, 2025, which deferred the departure of interns to Israel. These interns will be prioritized for the second batch of deployment, and currently, there is an initiative from the DA-ATI and RTCs to hire interns who are currently unemployed.
The Philippine-Israel Internship Program for the Youth (PIIPY) officially commenced last September 2025 with the conduct of Pre-Departure Orientation for the accepted interns. Out of the 50 target interns, a total of 50 were accepted across the regions based on the National Steering Committee (NSC) deliberation and the interview of Agrostudies.
