Magandang araw, CMC Fam!

Bilang paggunita sa Araw ng Kagitingan, magsasara ang CMC Library sa Abril 9. Sama-sama nating alalahanin ang tapang at sakripisyo ng mga bayani ng ating bayan. Muli tayong magbubukas sa Abril 10. Samantala, mananatiling bukas at maa-access ang ating mga online resources.

Think Pink, Unplug Smart: Monitor charging, conserve energy, empower learning 

Beginning April 13, 2026, the UP CMC Library will implement responsible energy conservation through the Pink Charging Card. Only academic gadgets may be charged, with a maximum of two hours per day. In response to the Office of the Chancellor’s directive on energy conservation, the UP CMC Library will adjust its service hours effective tomorrow, April 8, 2026.

New Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday: Closed until further notice

In observance of Holy Week 2026, the College of Media and Communication Library will adjust its service schedule:

Mar 30–31 (Mon–Tue): Limited Library Service

Apr 1 (Wed): Online Services Only

Apr 2–4 (Thu–Sat): CLOSED

Notice to Early Closure and Online Services

Due to the nationwide transport strike, the CMC Library will close earlier than usual at 5:00 PM today, March 26, and tomorrow, March 27, 2026. On the other hand, library services will be available online on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

This adjustment is made to ensure that our staff can travel home safely. We encourage all library users to plan their visits accordingly and complete transactions before closing time.

The UP CMC Library will be CLOSED on Friday, March 20, 2026, in observance of Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan), a regular holiday nationwide. Library services will resume on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
