Philippine Peso (Php). Exchange Rate: ~ 52 PHP = 1 USD (note that exchange rate fluctuates daily). Philippine currency consists of 1000, 500, 100, 50, 20 bills, and 5, 1, 0.50, 0.25 coins.

Electrical System
In the Philippines the standard voltage is 220 V and the frequency is 60 Hz. You can use your electric appliances in the Philippines, if the standard voltage in your country is in between 220 - 240 V. Sockets are Type A and B.

Transportation
- Enter the Philippines via Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila.
- Ride a taxi, going to Gil Puyat Ave., Buendia, Pasay City, wherein you can ride buses at the terminals going to Los Banos, Laguna. Ride a bus labeled STA. CRUZ and inform the bus conductor that you are going to UPLB.
- Alight the bus in front of Olivarez Plaza, Los Banos, Laguna.
- Ride a jeep, going to UPLB.
