The ANRRC

The Asian Network of Research Resource Centers

The Asian Network of Research Resource Centers (ANRRC) has 107 member institutes from 16 countries. ANRRC was established in September 2009 out of the initiative of the RIKEN BRC in Tsukuba, Japan; the Institute of Microbiology-Chinese Academy of Science (IMCAS) in Beijing, China; and the Korea Network of Research Resource Centers (KNRRC) in Seoul, South Korea. Aiming to promote cooperation and networking among BRCs in the Asia-Pacific Region, ANRRC has organized international meetings, with South Korea, Japan, and China, alternating as hosts. This 2019, the Philippines will be hosting the 11th ANRRC International Meeting. The annual meeting is a vital and dynamic venue for sharing knowledge, updates, and standards in biodiversity conservation and utilization, biobanking, and laws and regulations relevant to animal, plant, microbial, and human materials or resources.
