Aim of the Postgraduate Programme
International Human Resource Management, Communication and Leadership aims to train and organise International Management, Communication Management, Change Management in the light of the international political economy, to address problems related to professional development, professional selection and problems of adaptation in the workplace, as well as to develop the skills and strategies of effective Leadership and Management in business/organisations.
The scope of the Postgraduate Studies Programme extends to the conceptual background of the concepts of Management, Communication, Leadership/Management, Management Strategy and Security, which are interrelated, with an orientation towards the implementation of Human Resources Management in an international environment and the relationship between the international environment and Entrepreneurship. In this context, the programme is based on the challenges of the 21st century, with the basic parameter of the increasing competitiveness of modern businesses/organizations in the broad context of international social, economic, political and cultural competition, the emphasis on the selection of the best and most valuable employees for their staff in combination with the modern scientific, technological development and expansion of the professional field in connection with the ever-emerging issues and requirements in the field of business administration, the impending labour problems, the urgent need for employees to acquire more knowledge, skills and competences, and to seek more effective ways in the broader context of International Human Resources Management, adopting the implementation of the European institution of mediation and negotiation, the training of which is the communicative foundation stone for the smooth resolution of disputes and the avoidance of conflicts in the workplace and in competing businesses, as well as the change of mentality and culture of the Greek European citizen.
The aim is to provide specialised scientific education and research. The education, research, online practical exercises and tutorials are oriented towards issues of gaining experience through the application of knowledge of tools and systems with theoretical and practical expertise in each field of international management, the improvement and development of communication in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution and conflict avoidance, policies for the development and employment of human resources in the EU, the development of leadership and management skills for an effective and efficient management of the EU with vision and strategy, professional development, optimising performance in decision-making methods in the context of international competition, international competitive relations and international security, crisis management in forthcoming changes in industrial relations, corporate social responsibility and governance, change management in relation to the international political economy, organisational culture, business/organisational ethics and business negotiations, law, leadership, management, bureaucratic organisation and legislation.
In line with the above, the Postgraduate Programme focuses on the educational, administrative, professional and developmental needs of human resources. More specifically, this Programme contributes to the improvement and development of communication skills and competences in the field of business/organisational management, and in the professional field in general, in the dynamics of the methodology of counselling to facilitate the professional development of the individual, in the formation of managers in charge of the Human Resources Management Departments, in the best possible use of human resources, in the formation of managers, supervisors and generally "leading" personalities and competent managers, in matters of management performance, development and management of communication, development of "leadership" skills for senior executives of institutions and organizations, in the acquisition of experience in strategies and policies in the field of business/organizational management, in complex political and economic dimensions of the international economic system, so that they can optimally cope with and manage changes in their working environments, but also in techniques and practices that improve and promote international cooperation, relations, intercultural approaches, intercultural approaches, and the development of a better understanding of the international economic system.

In-depth study of international labour relations and labour law, international human resources development and employment policies in the EU, international collective and individual agreements, termination of employment contracts, organisational/business flexibility, employee selection methods, management of employee diversity such as people with disabilities, cultural culture and diversity in employee performance management
Understanding the importance and role of Leadership and Management in administration
Understanding and acquiring skills in Marketing techniques
Acquisition of knowledge in employee development and training, dealing with organisational change, international policies in the economy, talent development, reward and career systems.
Acquisition of knowledge in research methodology, in the scientific and systematic search for appropriate information on specific topics, in analytical modelling and numerical analysis, as it is a field of particular interest in the last decade.
Categories of Candidates
Graduates of domestic universities and recognized similar institutions abroad, as well as graduates of T.E.I. departments, who graduated before the synergy with the Greek Universities of a related cognitive subject, are admitted to the programme.
The maximum number of students admitted to the Master's Degree programme is set at forty (40) per year. The Council of the Department in special cases, following a justified recommendation of the Coordinating Committee, may modify the number of admissions and the number of departments in each programme of study. In special cases (10% of students with the same level), the Council may, after justification and approval, modify the number of admissions. In addition, in excess of the number of admissions, those who meet the requirements according to the provisions of article 80 of Law 4957/22 will be admitted.
