When you are out doing your trash assessment it is important that you consider safety. We need safety procedures so that every can be safe and not get hurt.

Safety Procedures
- Sunscreen: We wear sunscreen to protect your skin.
- Wear toe closed shoes: We wear closed toed shoes to protect your feet.
- Always wear gloves: We where gloves to protect our hands from dirt and contamination.
- Bring a water bottle: We bring water bottles so we don’t get dehydrated.
- Take frequent breaks: We take breaks so we don’t get exhausted.
- Buddy System: We use a buddy system to protect each other. This way if one person gets hurt another person can get help.
I have all my safety equipment on and I am ready to go!
