Faculty of Agriculture Releases Second "பசுமை ஒளி" Newsletter

We're delighted to announce that the Outreach Committee of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, has officially released its second issue of the "பசுமை ஒளி" newsletter! on October 27, 2025, at the Faculty of Agriculture premises in Ariviyal Nagar, Kilinochchi.

The "பசுமை ஒளி" is specifically designed to:

Empower the Region: Serve as a bridge between academic research and practical field application, helping local farmers and citizens adopt innovations that enhance productivity and environmental stewardship.

Disseminate Knowledge: Deliver accessible, practical, and up-to-date information on modern and sustainable agricultural practices directly to farming communities and citizens of the region.

Introduce Our Work: Highlight the latest activities, research findings, and community engagement efforts led by the Outreach Committee and the Faculty..

2024 Issue 1

E-launching ceremony of the Outreach Newsletter “பசுமை ஒளி” Publication was held on 3rd of Dec 2024 at the auditorium of the faculty of Agriculture. To disseminate the sustainable and modern agriculture knowledge, and introducing outreach committee’s activities to the farming communities and citizens of the region. Twenty eight Academia, Final year students from faculty of Agriculture and JICA-PRECIDA experts were graced this event. JICA-PRECIDA is the sole sponsoring partner for this newsletter.
