Application of surface tension and contact angle to food and beverages


We have recently acquired an optical and a force tensiometer.

Our Biolin Scientific Theta Flex optical tensiometer allows to measure static contact angle, dynamic contact angle, surface free energy of solids, surface and interfacial tension. 

Our Sigma 700 force tensiometer and its associated tools allows  to measure surface tension, interfacial tension, Critical Micelle Concentration (CMC), Dynamic contact angle, surface free energy, density. 

We are interested in the application of these instruments to the food and beverage field.
