This activity aims at producing and investigating the microstructural, thermo-mechanical and shape memory properties of biodegradable blends prepared by melt compounding. Their physical properties might be further enhanced by adding suitable compatibilizers.
This research aims at producing smart eco-sustainable polymer blends with optimized composition and good processability, in view of their future application in novel multifunctional packaging.
