The name

Teacher Directed Activities (or TDAs) is a term used in Design Technology DP level. These activities are designed to help students gain a better understanding of different elements/strands/criteria within the Internal Assessment (IA).

Why in MYP?

We have developed the Grade 9 & 10 program with content areas embedded that align with core Topic areas of Design Technology in the DP. This is to allow for a smoother transition from MYP to DP within this subject area. So just like the TDAs in DP the areas covered 'help students gain a better understanding' of different areas of the topic content before developing a deeper understanding in the DP program
