We are focusing on SDG 7.2: End open defecation & give everyone access to basic hygienic needs. According to UNICEF 11% of homes don’t have access to basic sanitary needs. This means they are vulnerable to diseases; diarrhoea, migraines, etc. This is a huge issue in Vietnam because even though people have access to hygienic products, they are not taught how/why to use it. These uneducated people can unintentionally poison food and infect people. Lacking information like this can cause health issues to spread rapidly.UNICEF estimates that around 1000 people are negatively affected by hygiene issues in Hanoi annually. So, our group is making kits that include hygienic products and teaches people how/why to use these products. This will have a positive impact on people’s health because it will create a long lasting change as knowledge can be passed down for generations. Our solution will develop vietnam’s hygiene & ensure everyone’s medical safety
