Criterion C - Creating the Solution
Ci - Plan
Construct a logical plan, which describes the efficient use of time and resources, sufficient for peers to be able to follow to create the solution
Assessment
1-2 The team constructs an outline for a script that contains only a few details, not enough for the team to use as the baseline for the preparation of their pitch.
3-4 The team constructs an outline for a script that contains some details, but barely enough for the team to use as the baseline for the preparation of their pitch.
5-6 The team constructs a logical outline for a script, which considers time and resources, sufficient for the team to use as the baseline for the preparation of their pitch.
7-8 The team constructs a detailed and logical outline for a script, which describes the efficient use of time and resources, sufficient for the team to use as the baseline for the preparation of their pitch.
As a team
Consider the tips of those that went before you.
List the topics of your pitch in chronological order as you will present them.
Identify who will present each topic
Identify the (visual) aids props or actions that will help you get your message across for each topic.
Outline the role of the non-presenters (team members not speaking) during each topic. Perhaps they can do more than just stand there.
Estimate the time it will take to convey each topic
Cii - Technical Skills
Demonstrate excellent technical skills when making the solution

1-2 The team demonstrates minimal technical skills when making the solution.
3-4 The team demonstrates satisfactory technical skills when making the solution.
5-6 The team demonstrates competent technical skills when making the solution.
7-8 The team demonstrates excellent technical skills when making the solution.
Create the prop(s) needed for your pitch.
Create the slide deck that will accompany your pitch.
Create a 'Year 1 Forcecast' for the jury to refer to during your pitch. Use the 'sustainable business' diagram above to consider the 'cash flow' of your business.
Prepare and practice your pitch
Ciii - The Solution
Follow the plan to create the solution, which functions as intended
Assessment
1-2 The team creates a pitch, which is supported poorly with visual aids and is presented poorly.
3-4 The team creates a pitch, which is supported partially with visual aids and is adequately presented.
5-6 The team creates a pitch, which is well-supported with visual aids and is presented clearly.
7-8 The team follows the plan to create a pitch, which is supported with creative visual aids and is presented in a clear, logically coherent and fun way.
Present at least three photos of the physical prop(s) you used in your pitch (take photos from varying angles).
Present 6-10 screenshots of slides of the slide deck that accompanied your pitch.
Present a screenshot your business plan handout
Present at least six photos of your pitch - these could be screenshots from the video recording.

Outline and justify any changes your team made in your final Phoenix Nest pitch - Compare your pitch with your plans and chosen design. Look back at your work for the Ci:Plan, Biii:Chosen Design and Biv:Planning Diagram tasks in detail to complete this task.
