Part 1: Team, roles, norms of collaboration
Consider the tips of those that went before you wrt to teamwork and the project in general.
As a team
Identify the roles in your team.
Present a team selfie.
Outline at least 5 norms of collaboration for your team. And two for each individual team member. [1][2][3][4]
Present a quote related to teamwork that resonates with all members of your team.
Part 2: Explore opportunities
As a team
Identify three SDGs your team feels passionate about. For each:
Identify two specific targets within the SDG that your team would like to work on.
Identify local communities (at UNIS, in Hanoi, in Vietnam) that could be impacted by work towards these targets.
Outline a few ways in which these problems could be addressed by your project.
Part 3: Initial Focus
As a team
Identify the SDG target your team is thinking about taking towards in this project. Make sure you read through the description of this target.
Describe at least three specific problems in our community (UNIS, Hanoi, Vietnam) related to the chosen SDG target that you are considering tackling in your project. Consider the 'circle of influence' image to the right when developing your list.
Justify the relevance of this problem area. I.e. photographs, statistics, quotes from a relevant stakeholder, relevant news articles or other sources.
Aii - Research Plan
Identify and prioritize the primary and secondary research needed to develop a solution to the problem

7-8 The team constructs a detailed research plan, which identifies and prioritizes the primary and secondary research needed to develop a solution to the problem independently.
Part 1
As a team
Identify sources that you could consult to help you in this project. Sources can be people (through observations, surveying, interviewing or informal chats), websites, books etc.
Part 2
As an individual
Outline what you think you might learn from each source in the form of research questions.
Technical research will most likely focus on identifying sources that can help determine what is feasible in your project.
Marketing research will most likely focus on identifying the needs and wants of the different stakeholders of your team's project: The benefactors (Buyers, Consumers, Funders) and Beneficiaries (the community positively impacted).
Strategic research will most likely focus on identifying what different investment strategies might work for your team's project and how the investment might lead to sustainable impact.
Innovation research will most likely focus on identifying products/solutions that are similar to what your team's project might develop.

Prioritize the relative importance of consulting each source in your research plan.

Aiii - Existing Solutions
Analyse a range of existing projects that inspire a solution to the problem

Part 1
As a team
Identify the name and website of a range of existing projects, social enterprises or charities with a purpose similar to that of your team. If you are a team of 3, identify at least 3. If you are a team of 4, at least 4.
Identify the Benefactors (Buyers, Consumers and/or Funders) of the identified projects.
Identify the Beneficiaries (positively impacted community or partner organization) of the identified projects.
Part 2
As an individual
Analyze the technical, marketing, strategic or innovative aspects of each 'product'.
Technical analysis: What are the main resources used by the organization?
Human Resources - People needed to produce a product or provide a service - People with certain expertise, people to do certain jobs.
Capital Resources - Tools and equipment needed to produce a product or provide a service.
Material Resources - Consumable materials needed to produce a product or provide a service.
Marketing analysis: How does the enterprise communicate with its stakeholders and the outside world? What are the key elements of the project's branding?
Strategic analysis: How is the enterprise financed? What makes the project possible? What is the revenue model of the enterprise?
Innovation analysis: What is the Unique Selling Proposition of the enterprise? What makes it special or unique?
Aiv - Design Brief
Develop a detailed design brief which summarizes the analysis of relevant research

Part 1: Executive Summary
As a team
State the proposed working title for your enterprise
State the mission statement for your enterprise.
Describe the key activities of your enterprise.
Identify the beneficiaries (positively impacted community or partner organization) of your enterprise.
List the main resources you think you will need for your enterprise (we need).
Human Resources - People you think you need to produce the product or provide the service your social enterprise intends to provide.
Capital Resources - Tools and equipment you think you need to produce the product or provide the service your social enterprise intends to provide.
Material Resources - Consumable materials you think you need to produce the product or provide the service your social enterprise intends to provide.
Outline how stakeholders will know about your enterprise (marketing).
Outline your revenue model. I.e. how your enterprise will be sustainably financed.
Outline the Unique Selling Proposition of your enterprise. You could do so in the form of a slogan.
Part 2: Research Summary
As an individual - Execute your part of the research plan and ...
Summarize the outcomes in a list of concise statements (bullet points).
List at least three useful sources of information from your research. Use the MLA referencing system.
