Mission

Helping identify victims of human trafficking across Vietnam.

In Vietnam, over 2,300 people each year are trafficked each year into an unknown country, only counting the ones who are recognized. Most of them are women, who are being forced to marry a man in China to have children, or children who are forced to work in labor or sold in a market. Their bright and long futures are taken, forced to stay under the roof of an unknown person in an unknown Country. By creating a solution to this problem, Vietnam will be able to save dozens of lives of young, innocent citizens and make their dreams and future available again. Considering the scale of this problem, our group decided to focus on rescuing the victims. Our group “Jewelry of Signals”'s solution plans to help the rescue in the process of “Locating the Victims”. Our solution used GPS camouflaged as a bracelet which allows the victims to send the location to Blue dragon, an organization that specializes in rescuing the victims of child trafficking in Vietnam. This will help the Blue dragon significantly, and will increase the chance of the victims being rescued.
