ORACLE Trial
An investigator-initiated European study evaluating metyrapone chronotherapy in mild autonomous cortisol secretion.
Mild autonomous cortisol secretion (MACS) is a common but under-recognised endocrine condition associated with hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidaemia, bone fragility and increased cardiovascular risk.
The ORACLE Trial aims to improve the real-world management of patients with clinically relevant MACS by comparing metyrapone chronotherapy with current standard-of-care strategies.
The study is designed as a multicentre academic platform, integrating clinical outcomes with cortisol rhythmicity, cardiometabolic assessment, translational biomarkers and optional remote-monitoring measures.
Clinicians, investigators and centres interested in participating in the ORACLE network are invited to contact the study team.
