All communication with KOMBI should take place during office hours (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) on working days (Monday to Friday).
The supervision process can be conducted either on campus or online, based on a mutually agreed schedule.
Supervisors are expected to provide feedback within seven (7) working days (weekends are not included). If feedback is not given within this timeframe, students have the right to follow up with the respective supervisor.
If any issues arise during the supervision process, causing discomfort for either the student or the supervisor for any reason, both parties may report the matter to KOMBI with relevant evidence for further action.
Starting December 1, 2024, students must provide proof of attendance at a minimum of five (5) proposal seminars, either as participants, notetakers, or moderators (logbook form available for download). This proof is a requirement for submitting a proposal seminar.
Before December 1, 2024, students only need to provide proof of attendance at one proposal seminar. This requirement does not apply to students from the 2018 and 2019 cohorts or 2021 students who submitted their proposal seminar before or during the issuance of this regulation.
Students planning to participate in a proposal seminar or thesis defense must complete the Registration Form at https://forms.gle/ikkkWSXRDhQQTKCk7 no later than seven (7) days before the seminar or defense.
Students from the 2018 cohort onwards must create a flyer (A4 size, JPG or PNG format). It is recommended that each cohort uses a unified format or theme. This flyer will serve as an open invitation shared by KOMBI across various WhatsApp groups for English Education Program students. The seminar participant limit is 25 people, with a minimum of 15 participants.
The seminar host must share a PDF version of the PowerPoint presentation with seminar participants via a QR code displayed on the final slide.
The seminar host must reconfirm the seminar/defense schedule with all faculty members 24 hours before the event.
Students wishing to graduate during the final grade entry period (to avoid paying tuition fees) must complete their defense no later than one month before the last grade entry deadline.
Students defending their thesis during the final grade entry period are not entitled to request expedited revisions from examiners/supervisors for reasons such as avoiding tuition fees, unless all involved parties agree.
Students are required to upload the minutes of the meeting and the score sheets for the proposal seminar and thesis defense to https://forms.gle/KgCpPDsbGRZ9TRLZ8.
