COURSE REPEAT POLICY

• Pre-major courses: 2 attempts per course, D and F grades count as attempts

• W grades do not count as attempts

• Attempts of CHEM 1251 are only for attempts taken at UNC Charlotte. The Exercise Science Department does not review previous transcripts from other institutions.

• Note: The catalog states that CHEM 1251 can be repeated 3 times. However, Exercise Science will hold students to only 2 attempts. Students who have repeated CHEM 1251 for a third time will be denied to attend the Change of Major Orientation. 

NOTES

• Admission to Pre-Exercise Science does not automatically admit an applicant to the Exercise Science Major. Students must still apply at a later point and be admitted to the upper-level of the major. 

• Non-majors cannot take EXER courses.
