Strategy 1: Youth-Friendly COVID-19 Vaccine Messaging
We worked with youth and youth-serving agency staff to develop these youth-friendly, trauma-informed, culturally responsive messaging about COVID-19 vaccination to address the main concerns youth shared about being vaccinated.
Below, you can access and use the messaging materials we created for youth! If you have any feedback about these infographics, please fill out the following survey: https://umn.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0O4WGS9FEPCTVPw

Strategy 2: Health Events
We partnered with youth, youth-serving agencies, and healthcare organizations to launch site-based, fun, and inclusive health events organized in partnership with youth and youth-serving agencies.
More information about what we learned on how to make these events a success to come!
Strategy 3: Vaccine After Care Kits
We distributed vaccine aftercare kits to youth to offer physical, emotional, and educational support after vaccination.
Here is a list of what is included in our after-care kits:
Hand sanitizer; Disinfectant wipes; Packs of tissues; Chapstick; Face masks; Journal; Gel pens; Affirmation notes; Crackers/chips; Drink mix; Tea; KN95 masks; and an infographic about what to expect post-vaccination.
Strategy 4: Training for Youth-serving Agency Staff
We facilitated training and resources for staff at youth-serving agencies who work directly with youth to help them navigate conversations about the vaccine with youth, in partnership with the Healthcare Reparations Cooperative.
