This workshop is designed for instructors who are interested in developing collaborative and interdependent reading and writing activities in their online classes. Working with Google Docs, participants will have the opportunity to craft social annotation activities that (1) align reading and writing with disciplinary thinking; (2) that use social annotation activities to support students through the writing process; and (3) that use social annotation activities to develop rhetorical awareness and familiarity with specific writing conventions.
