In the effort to create a more just and equitable University, faculty and instructors across campus are working diligently to examine the premises of our educational systems and practices. In this discussion and workshop, what is the role of grading writing in helping us to address implicit biases and promote equity?
This hybrid workshop will include asynchronous reading and discussion, followed by a synchronous session in which we address research-based strategies for promoting equity in grading.
