Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior

EEB Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior is to advance knowledge and understanding in the fields of ecology, evolution and behavior and the conceptual areas where these fields intersect. This knowledge and understanding are prerequisites to solving many of the serious biological problems facing society. We accomplish this mission through theoretical, experimental and field research; undergraduate and graduate education; scholarly publication and outreach.
