Supervised by Jeff Miller and Martin Felices, joined the lab in 2025
Elise graduated from the University of Iowa with bachelor degrees in microbiology and Italian, after which she held a post-baccalaureate fellowship position at the National Cancer Institute in Dr. David Wink's laboratory. There she worked on the role of nitric oxide immunometabolism in triple negative breast cancer.
In the NK cellular therapeutics laboratories, Elise aims to understand how immune cell interactions with NK cellular therapies influence solid tumor microenvironments through imaging and in vitro techniques. She is integrated into the Kennedy Lab in addition to her interactions with the Miller/Felices groups.
When she’s not in the lab, you can find her traveling or on the lookout for the next best coffee shop.
