Explicit approaches aim to make the learner consciously aware of the target forms and the patterns guiding their usage. There is current research attention directed toward the efficacy of explicit grammatical instruction with monolingual children with DLD. However, there is no research to date investigating explicit instruction with bilingual children.
This is a preliminary investigation of an explicit grammatical language intervention approach with bilingual 5- to 7-year-olds with developmental language disorder (DLD).
The data collection is completed, and the manuscript is published!
