Students interested in research assistant positions in the CLDC lab: Students in the CLDC assist with a variety of duties, including setting up research tasks, collecting data from participants, analyzing and entering past data, and maintaining our lab space. Research assistants should be excited about language, speech-language disorders, and the research process. They should also be able to commit to working 3 to 5 hours per week on lab-related tasks and to attending weekly lab meetings. Please read through the 'Lab expectations' section of my advising statement.
Here are some additional qualities and experiences that are helpful for research assistants:
Listening and speaking skills in a language other than English
Experience with and/or interest in working with children
Flexibility, attention to detail, strong communication skills
