The Project CHANGE aims to improve how developmental language disorder (DLD) is identified in bilingual children. Building on an ongoing study, we are working with school-based professionals to better understand how assessment tools designed to measure cognitive processing skills can be integrated into real-world educational settings. Through listening sessions and the development of practical decision-support resources, this project will help prepare for a larger implementation study focused on making DLD identification more accurate, equitable, and feasible in schools.
