Career Development Network
Attend an Upcoming Meeting to connect with colleagues, share best practices, and learn from campus partners. Our meetings happen in fun and informal formats of lightning talks, roundtable collaborations with the Academic Advising Network (AAN), board and committee group updates, and professional development workshops.
Get more involved with CDN by joining a Committee or Working Group. Email committee chairs directly to inquire about involvement.
Join the CDN listserv is to share information that will enhance career advising and professional work at the University of Minnesota, and the CDN Google Space is to engage with each other with minimal time commitment or effort!
Interested in being involved as a mentor, a mentee, or peer? Based on information provided through the application, we do our best to match individuals with others of similar interest. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to connect with colleagues across campus!
Sign up here if you are interested in being contacted for volunteer opportunities to present/facilitate career workshops or table on behalf of CDN.
The CDN Board annually sets aside up to $3,000 in support of CDN members attending local, national or regional conferences in which they represent CDN in some way. This money is allocated on a first-come basis.

The Career Development Network (CDN) is committed to providing career resources to all corners of the University. Recognizing that many central units operate without a direct career services affiliate, we have established this centralized request portal. Our goal is to make it easy for campus partners to tap into the collective expertise of our members, ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed.
Email the CDN Board (CDNboard@umn.edu) with questions, or submit content for the CDN website, such as professional accomplishments, upcoming events, or professional resources to share. Have feedback about CDN? Let us know!
