(Luis Quiroz, 2023)
This website was made for an assignment in WRIT 1301H led by professor Dr. Beth Hartman as a final project for the course. Quiroz is a student studying at the University of Minnesota. As of writing, she is majoring in the "Sociology of Law, Criminology and Justice" and Spanish with a minor in Art. In addition, she creates multi-media artwork, ranging from sketching to painting to digital illustration. Her most recently completed portfolio consists of artwork depicting unconventional phobias with the goal of learning, trying to understand the fears of others, and bridge the concepts with art so that peers may also try to understand them.
Personal views on AI:
The current regulation on training is abhorrent and detrimental to art as a whole. It is possible to make ethical AI art by working with artists rather than stealing work which would also allow the AI to be more consistent and of better quality without any moral qualms about generation to boot.
The theme was less known/aknowledged phobias and the porfolio recieved the score of 4 from AP.
