The Museum of Nonconformist Art is a nongovernmental museum located at the Pushkinskaya-10 art center – one of Russia’s oldest independent cultural spaces. Besides collecting, researching and promoting underground art of the Soviet period, the Museum presents contemporary art exhibitions and operates an international residency program.

Intern Position Title: Curation  Intern

Intern Position Description:
By joining the team of the Museum of Nonconformist Art the intern will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of arts and culture. The intern will participate in preparing and organizing various events and projects, as well as assisting the museum staff in daily tasks. The intern will work with art professionals from Russia and abroad, as well as communicate with local and international partners. The responsibilities will also include writing and editing texts in English.

If other languages would be helpful, which language(s) and at what level? Knowledge of Russian language will be an advantage.

Internship Dates:  Possible internship dates are between February 12th and December 20th. Final internship duration and dates will be discussed individually with selected interns. Each part-time internship should last at least 3 months.


Hours per Week:  10  hours /week
