Resident/Fellow Online Forum

All House Officers have access to an electronic Resident/Fellow Online Forum. The electronic forum is housed in the UM Canvas platform http://canvas.umich.edu/ . This forum offers collaboration among peers, and a space to directly raise concerns without hospital or academic administration present. Access to the forum is available at all hours making it a convenient easily accessible tool. The virtual space is intended for use by Residents and Fellows to share information and ideas through collaboration with colleagues.The Forum is monitored by one of their peers, Alexandria Sherwood, MD (PGY4, Orthopaedic Surgery). Dr. Sherwood has the responsibility to bring matters brought forth in the forum to GME leadership for review and action if appropriate or requested.
Questions regarding the forum can be directed to Chelsea Denniss in the GME Office at cmatzing@umich.edu House Officers are welcome to utilize this forum in the spirit of collaboration and wellness, as well as to bring concerns forward across residency and fellowship specialties.
