Fast Forward Medical Innovation at the University of Michigan supports biomedical innovation through education, funding, and business development. FFMI offers commercialization education, funding, and business development assistance working with external industry partners.

The University of Michigan Office of Technology Transfer is responsible for advising and guiding you through the process of protecting and commercializing your innovations. Check out their Tech Transfer FAQ and their Intellectual Property Basics videos.

The Michigan Medicine Quality Department provides analytic support, performance improvement and project resources, and training and expertise in quality and patient safety.

MICHR enables and enhances clinical and translational research at U-M. Their website hosts a number of resources, and their Investigational New Drug (IND) and Investigational New Device (IDE) consultation may be especially interesting to FCVC innovators.

The Zell Lurie Institute (ZLI) at Michigan Ross offers education, funding, and advising resources to Michigan entrepreneurs. FCVC innovators may be particularly interested in entrepreneurial advising office hours and funding opportunities.

The U-M Center for Entrepreneurship offers a number of resources for aspiring entrepreneurs, including educational programs such as I-Corps, and commercialization funding.
