Transcript Requirements
All transcript items must be uploaded via the application portal
Current University of Michigan Students must provide U-M transcripts
[Graduate Students Only] Transcript from Undergraduate and Previous Graduate Degree Granting Institutions: Graduate students must provide transcripts from their undergraduate degree-granting institution and other previous graduate degree-granting institution(s). See the section below on Submitting Transcripts for more instructions on how to submit these transcripts.
Transcripts of other post-secondary education with relevant coursework: All students who completed relevant language and area studies courses since graduating from high school at post-secondary institutions other than U-M [or for graduate students, other than degree granting institutions for which you’re already providing transcripts as mentioned in the previous paragraph] must provide an official transcript of such coursework from each institution, even if the credits have been transferred to U-M. These may include summer session or study abroad programs. See the section below on Submitting Transcripts for more instructions on how to submit these transcripts.
Submitting Transcripts
The most current and accurate transcripts must be uploaded into the application portal
You may download any and all available transcripts as PDFs to upload
FLAS Coordinators no longer require access to transcripts provided to U-M graduate applications
FLAS Coordinators no longer accept access to U-M transcripts online
We no longer accept mailed-in, faxed, or hand-delivered transcripts
All current and incoming students must upload digital transcripts through the application portal
