Online forms on the II Fellowships & Grants portal. These forms collect basic information such as contact information, academic information, and language information. Forms should be completed in order, because as questions are completed, other forms appropriate for your situation will be presented. The online forms may include:

Transcripts Upload digital copies of all academic transcripts in PDF format into the application portal
Language/Area Center Specific Instructions:
East Asia NRC (Chinese Studies): Current U-M students who are applying for Summer FLAS will automatically be considered for the LRCCS Summer Fellowship for language study without any additional application.
East Asia NRC (Japanese Studies): Current U-M students who are applying for Summer FLAS will automatically be considered for the CJS Summer Fellowship for language study without any additional application.
Statement of purpose, curriculum vitae/résumé, and academic letters of recommendation from previous applications may NOT be reused. The Language Instructor Recommendation may be reused ONLY IF you were already at an advanced level AND you have NOT enrolled in a language class since your last Language Instructor Recommendation was completed. Students who are currently enrolled in a language class or enrolled in a language class since the last Language Instructor Recommendation was submitted MUST get a new Language Instructor Recommendation.
