STEP-UP is an innovative chronic pain self-management program delivered through a workbook and online resources and coached by a community health worker. The program offers support, encouragement, and information about how to take control of your life with chronic pain.
STEP-UP is comprised of six weekly sessions, each including a podcast and workbook section, which you can work through in your own time. You benefit from the support of your community health worker whom you can share progress with via one face-to-face session and 5 phone sessions. To get the most from this program, we recommend you complete one session per week for six consecutive weeks. You will get a phone call each week from your community health worker. She will help you set goals and practice the new skills that you are learning.
