Journal
The goal of my personas is to make stereotypes as accurate as possible about people who I have interviewed before while the scope of my personas is online collaboration tools for group work. Based on these, I chose what to highlight with each of my personas by looking at their unique quotes or statements about group work. Their specific goals of group work and frustrations are insights about my interview participants that I want to communicate to anyone who would want to design something for these students. I would argue these insights are important for meeting their needs because they would provide the best solutions to get out of their problems in group work. If I am asked to use personas in the future, I will approach creating and using personas by categorizing each different race to leverage their advantages while avoiding their disadvantages. My scenarios could be used in later stages based on the findings that are provided in each scenario to evaluate potential solutions against the user needs they represent.
