Educators have countless responsibilities. They must plan, prepare, and deliver lessons. They must grade and provide meaningful feedback on each homework assignment, activity, and assessment. They must keep tabs on students and report signs of abuse. They must keep students calm and safe during emergencies. They basically must do everything right and nothing wrong. In other words, society places a huge responsibility on educators.
In order to survive the pressure of being an educator, teachers need to have excellent communication skills. They must be able to create meaningful and effective relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration. Moreover, all this must be done within the realm of professionalism, which is a continuous process throughout the career of an educator.
