Despite Ann Arbor's relatively small size, there is a plethora of cultural and fun opportunities in and near the city. There are frequent festivals, tons of outdoor spaces and activities, and great restaurants and breweries in A2 and nearby Detroit. It is also easy to escape "up north" for a weekend to a cabin in the woods or to a charming town on Lake Michigan. Here are just a few of our favorite activities to experience in Ann Arbor.

Mt. Brighton is 20 miles north of Ann Arbor and offers plenty of family fun on its 25 trails.
