Goal 1: Strategic Actions
- Develop and implement digital resources and in-person instructional sessions that support various literacies, including information literacy, data literacy and visual literacy.
- Expand reach and offerings of instructional opportunities – such as workshops, online tutorials and consultations – that support student acquisition of technical skills.
- Collaborate with librarians from Montgomery College Libraries to scaffold information literacy instruction at both institutions.
- Develop and deliver workshops and other programming to support the Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES) and Career Experiences Opportunities (CEO) programs of the Center for Recruitment and Transfer Access.
- Explore grant opportunities to develop programs and services to support students’ academic and professional success.
- Launch a one-credit course developed by library staff for all incoming USG students.
- Collaborate with librarians and library staff at institutions that have programs at USG to coordinate programs and services offered on both campuses.
