GOALS
Goal 1. Identify and support professional development opportunities for all library staff that facilitate growth, innovation and creativity and strengthen the library’s values.
Goal 2. Develop a network of Montgomery County library professionals to demonstrate the value of libraries to the county and enhance collaboration among their libraries.
Goal 3. Invest in recruiting, developing and retaining a diverse and culturally competent library staff to support evolving and growing campus needs.
Goal 4. Support USG staff from other departments to facilitate the effective and efficient implementation of their work.

- Outcomes of library staff’s professional development experiences.
- Quantity and quality of new initiatives undertaken by library staff.
- Quantity and quality of candidates in faculty and staff recruitment pools.
- Number of research consultations, workshop attendance and use of library technology and spaces by USG staff.
