Q: If I moved out and need to pay a balance, how can I pay?
A: They can pay via phone or send us a check or money order. Once they move out their SCC portal does not work.
Q: If I send a check, and it's post-dated before the 10th, but it gets there after the 10th, do I have to pay the late fee?
A: Yes. To avoid late fees, the date must be in our possession by the 10th. They can pay a one-time fee to avoid a late payment and the check in the mail would be credited to their account for the next installment.
Q: If I have a positive balance (credit) by the end of my lease, how can I get a refund?
A: If you are entitled to a refund, checks take 6-8 weeks after we initiate the refund to be sent out from corporate. The checks are sent to your forwarding address. They are sent after a lease ends and move-out inspections happen. Any damage fees or key fees will come out from that credit.

Q: If I get a letter from collections, can I pay you the amount I owe?

A: No, as this puts our staff in danger.
Q: My ___ is broken / not working. What should I do?
A: Put in a work order on your SCC portal. This gives our facilities team permission to enter the unit.
Q: What constitutes a facilities emergency?
A: Transfer the phone call to the facilities office and instruct the resident to also place a work order
