Multimedia
Est. 2005 is a walk through the art life- from adolescence to adulthood. This piece showcases the artist's connection to culture, through layered perspectives in the media. Each page reflects a moment, image, or symbol from African American culture that has deeply shaped their identity and growth as an artist. Through the use of graffiti, and multimedia, it highlights the music, films, poems, and artists that have influenced their worldview. These cultural explorations of arts illustrate resilience, expression, and resistance. For the artist, art and culture intersect with politics and personal identity. This project is an homage that celebrates the stories of creativity, struggle, and individuality that continue to shape who they are.
