This scrapbook is a culmination of several topics of personal significance. The first page centers a picture of the artist and significant things in their life. The second and third pages describe stressors and calming aspects in the artist's life, describing their stressful job in politics and Washington D.C. as well as the calming ride home on the Metro. Finally, the last three pages depict a sequence which visualizes the yin-and-yang, looking at how darkness and light are both necessary frames of existence. Throughout the scrapbook, several techniques involving paper, such as ripping, layering, and freehand paper crafting are used to adequately visualize the respective themes explored. Furthermore, textures like tape and plastic stickers are used to create a visually varied selection of pages.
